How to Get Started with CPA Networks

Yesterday I wrote a post about CPA Networks being one of the fastest way to get started in an online business. Now that you know what CPA Marketing is, I want to talk about some of the different CPA Networks, what you can expect from them, and how to get started.
First of all, in my own experience, I have found that the managers of CPA Networks are a lot more hands on than those in Affiliate Networks…in that I’ll get phone calls and emails on a weekly basis from at least one network touching base and seeing how they can help me find offers that will work for my websites. This can be a great thing, since they are willing to work with you. They are also willing to give you higher payouts as well, if you can get them good leads.
How can you get started with a CPA Network? That’s easy. Find a few, and sign up for them. This is very different than when trying to become an affiliate, since with an affiliate program you would find out what Affiliate Network that retailer was on. When it comes to CPA offers, you sign up for the CPA Networks, and see what offers they have to promote. You’ll also find that you can get the same offers at multiple CPA Networks. But be careful of this, as you’ll find a big difference in the amount you’ll get paid from different CPA Networks!
When signing up for a CPA Network, you might get intimidated when it asks about your website information. If you don’t have one yet, let them know…but also let them know how you plan on promoting their offers. As long as you have a plan, most of the time they are more than happy to approve you. Just a hint though – make sure you give your real phone number, as most want to verify that you are indeed who you say you are, and want to have a 2-minute phone conversation with you first.
So let’s start with signing up for some CPA Networks, and go from there. There are many ways to find CPA Networks. You can easily Google them, and find a huge list. Here are just a few of the ones I use, and am happy with:
- Hydra Network – They have lots of offers, many being exclusive to them only. At the time of this post, their payouts range from just under a dollar to $80.00, and of course offers change often. They also have extra rewards for making certain amounts of money each month.
- Market Leverage – They have over 375 offers as of this post, ranging from a dollar a lead to over $200.00 a lead. They are often at different events, and have an easy to use website.
- Neverblue – They have over 500 offers as of this post, ranging from under a dollar a lead to $60.00 a lead. Like the others, they also have some offers where you get a certain amount of money per sale.
- Affiliate.com – Up until last year, they were CPA Empire, so if you don’t see too much out there about Affiliate.com, it’s not because they are new, they just changed names. They have over 275 offers as of this post, ranging from a dollar a lead to $175.00 a lead.
Once you sign up and get approved for CPA Networks like the ones above, you can take a look at their long lists of offers. You’ll see all types of offers, so you are sure to find something that either fits your website, or fits what you want to promote.
You then get the links or banners associated with that offer, and put them up on your website – or wherever you are going to promote them. It really is that simple.
The only thing you have to keep track of with CPA Networks is that CPA offers are started and stopped at a much greater frequency than Affiliate offers. So while the offer you’re promoting might be live for a few months, it is very possible you’ll get an email a week or two later letting you know the offer has been shut down (at least temporarily.) So if you do use CPA offers, make sure you check your email often, as you’ll be notified if certain offers are stopped or paused for any reason.
One really great thing about promoting CPA offers is that it can be very easy. You don’t necessarily need a website to do so, and you definitely don’t need a product. Depending on the offer and CPA network, you can do PPC (pay per click) to advertise the offers, or even just write articles and submit them for free. Someone who is just beginning and doesn’t even have a website yet can still start making a good income online.
The (Second) Fastest Way to Get Started in an Online Business – CPA Marketing

Last week I wrote about the fastest way to get started in an online business, with Affiliate Marketing. Now I want to introduce you to the “second” fastest way to get started in an online business, with CPA Marketing.
What is CPA Marketing? CPA stands for “Cost Per Action”. It’s very similar to affiliate marketing, except here instead of getting a percentage of a sale, most of the time you get a set amount of pay for a set action. For example, when a company like Netflix is using a CPA Network, you might have to get a user to sign up for a free trial of Netflix. If you do, you’ll get a set amount of money, even if the user doesn’t end up signing up for a membership. Others work just by sending leads. If you send someone to a CPA offer and they give the company their email address, you’ll get a set amount of money.
CPA Marketing is very similar to Affiliate Marketing. The biggest difference is that you’re getting paid for an “action” instead of getting paid a small percentage of a purchase. The second biggest difference is usually the pay. With affiliate marketing, much of the time you’ll end up making a very small percentage of a sale (at least with many retail stores you’ve heard of – this is definitely not true for all affiliate programs), while with CPA Marketing you can easily find offers to promote that make you $10+ an action, and sometimes much more than that.
You may be wondering why I called this the second fastest way to get started in an online business, especially since it sounds so similar to Affiliate Marketing. The only reason I put Affiliate Marketing as a little bit faster was because it may be easier to convince people to buy things from stores they heard of…especially if you don’t have a list and are sending the links to people you know.
CPA Networks do have something up on Affiliate Networks though. In order to make money from an affiliate offer, most likely someone has to spend money to buy something. In many CPA offers though, no one has to buy anything. Just by getting someone to give their information, get a freebie, or sign up for a free trial can earn you a good income.
In my next post I’ll talk more about CPA Networks, how they work, and what types of things you can expect from them.
Joel Comm’s Adsense Secrets 4 – Free
If you’re into Internet Marketing, there is no doubt you’ve heard of Joel Comm. He’s created many products, books, and even an Internet Marketing TV Show. He has been around for a while, and really knows how to make money online, no matter what market you’re in. A few years ago, he created a great book called “AdSense Secrets”. I read it, and it really helped me with Google AdSense. Since then, it has been updated many times, and he recently released AdSense Secrets 4.
What’s better about this version than the previous versions? Besides being updated…the price! He’s actually giving away the ebook FREE…and I do mean free…no shipping and handling costs, or anything.
Why is he doing this? He wants you to try his new “Top One Percent Report”…and when you get the free book, you’ll also get a free months copy of the Top One Percent Report. If you love it, don’t do anything, and after the first month you’ll get charged $29.95 a month. Don’t like the report? Cancel before the month is up, and you won’t have paid anything, and will have gotten Joel Comm’s AdSense Secrets 4 as well as the Top One Percent Report for free.
Who is this product for? It’s for anyone who uses Google AdSense to earn money on their websites, or who wants to. Joel Comm goes over everything about AdSense to help you make money with it on your website, or to help you make more money with it on your website if you’re already earning money with AdSense. He has a lot of great ideas to help you increase your income.
How much does it cost? Free. Like I mentioned before, it’s completely free. Nothing will be charged on your credit card. Note: If you don’t cancel the “Top One Percent Report” before your 30 days are up though, you will start getting charged for that each month. If you enjoy it, that’s great, and if you don’t – cancel and you won’t be charged a penny.
What will this product teach me? It will teach you all about Google AdSense, and about making (more) money with it. If you’re a beginner, don’t worry…Joel Comm goes over the basics such as creating your website, designing it, hosting it, etc. He’ll talk about what AdSense is, and how to use it. Are you an experienced Google AdSense user? Don’t worry, there is a lot in here for you as well. He has entire chapters on how to make your ads more clickable, and how to make them look better on your website. Whether you are a beginner, a “regular” user, or are an advanced AdSense user, there will be many tips and ideas that you will be able to use to increase your income on your website.
Bonuses? Of course. The first bonus is a free 30-day trial of his “Top One Percent” report, which helps you make a serious income marketing online. You’ll also get a free 30-day pass to his Top One Network membership site and social network.
Looking for more bonuses? You’ll also get 7 free audio downloads that will help get you inspired and started on the right path. They’re from Mark Joyner, Marlon Sanders, Jeff Walker, Armand Morin, John Reese, Mike Filsaime, and Yanik Silver.
In short, if you have even a passing interest in using Google AdSense, you should get this ebook. AdSense Secrets 4 is sure to teach you many things you don’t know, and will help you earn more income on your website. Plus, you really can’t beat the price!
Web Hosting – HostMonster
Once you decide you want to create a website or blog, the first thing you’ll need to do is figure out what web hosting company you want to go with. While this might not sound like an important decision to make, and that any hosting company will do, you will want to do some research on the web hosting company first.
There are a few things you are looking for. Obviously, one is price. You don’t want to spend too much when there are so many options out there that are under $15 a month. You also want to make sure you get the features you want. Some have easier interfaces than others. Some will only let you have a certain number of domains on your account. Some are run on Windows boxes, while others use Linux. You also get a certain amount of space on your account. These are all important things to find out before you choose your account.
You also need to make sure that the hosting company is reliable. You would think that every hosting company would be reliable, but that’s not the case. You would be surprised at how many companies have problems, and have downtime. This is one of the reasons we switched to HostMonster in the first place…and we’re very glad we did.
HostMonster had everything we were looking for. We searched for reviews, and found that people had very little downtime…so we knew that they were reliable. The price was on the low side, so we were happy with that as well. We also liked that you can have an unlimited number of domains with the hosting account. Some will only let you have a set number, and we have a lot of sites…and didn’t want to pay extra because of it. With HostMonster, you don’t have to.
We’ve been HostMonster for over a year now, and are still very happy with our choice, and wouldn’t switch. So when choosing a web hosting provider, make sure you take some time to do research, and don’t just randomly choose one. You’ll be glad you spend the time to find the one that’s best for you.
Aweber – Email Marketing and Autoresponder
Creating a list is something that almost every business wants to do. It makes it easy for you to contact your current customers, as well help turn potential customers into buyers. It can be very difficult to send an email to hundreds of people using your own email though.
Because of all of the spam issues, many internet providers will only let you send so many emails out at a time. Also, even if you manage to send the email out, it may be taken as spam on the other end. Plus, what if you want an email to automatically be sent out when someone subscribes to your list?
This is where a company like Aweber comes in. They do “Email Marketing” as well as act as an autoresponder, so they can help you build your business in many ways.
First, they will make it easy for you to manage different email lists. You can have a list of all of your current customers, and a separate list of potential customers. You might want to send them different emails, so it would be nice and easy to just compose an email to one of the lists, and know that only certain people will get them.
Having an autoresponder is also a wonderful thing. When someone signs up for your list, Aweber can automatically send an email to that person thanking them for signing up, or giving them specific information that they may have requested. These emails can go out 24 hours a day, so that even while you are sleeping your customers are being helped.
There are a few different companies that do Email Marketing and have Autoresponders, but Aweber is the one I use. One thing I really like about them is how easy they are to use, and that I know the emails will always get sent. I also like that before you send the email, it’ll let you know your spam rating, so if you have too many “spammy” words, you can change them before the email gets sent out.
If you’re looking for a way to keep in contact with current customers, as well as manage new ones, you should take a look at an Email Marketing system, such as Aweber.
